I was the first Plymouth-based qualified funeral celebrant when I started to serve the bereaved in Devon and Cornwall in this role in 2013. Drawing on more than 25 years of media and professional communications experience, I am committed to creating memorable personal funeral services which reflect the values of the deceased and the wishes of their family.
I am an advocate for choice, compassion and creativity to ensure the bereaved can say farewell in their own way. A constant feature of my working life has been ‘people stories’ with an empathy and respect for people from all walks of life.
There is nothing more rewarding than when I am asked after conducting a funeral service how did I know the person who has died because it means I captured the essence of that person by presenting the celebration of their life with warmth, sensitivity and attention to detail.
I pride myself on the extra touches to make a funeral service as unique as the individual being honoured.
